Mattel’s Hot Wheels brand and Formula 1 are collaborating to offer the sport’s fans a full variety of Hot Wheels products.

According to the firm, the new product range from the two renowned brands will feature F1 Teams and bring the thrill of F1 races to a 1:64 scale, providing a brand-new way for automobile enthusiasts to play and collect.

“In collaboration with Formula 1, we have put together a program that allows kids to replicate the thrill of F1 racing where they can drive like the pros and engage with our loyal communities on a global scale,” said Roberto Stanichi, executive VP, Hot Wheels & head of vehicles and building sets at Mattel.

“Like Hot Wheels, F1 is all about the thrill and car performance, and the broad collection we’ve created will take F1 fandom to the next level along with additional consumer touchpoints like digital and retail activations.”

The first product release is a die-cast collector, which is now available on Mattel Creations, and the multi-year partnership will develop throughout the next year and beyond.

The limited-edition Formula 1 car also features a distinctive Hot Wheels racing livery, Real Rider wheels with interchangeable tires, a full-metal body and chassis, and a new F1 casting.

Last month, Lego formed a multi-year strategic partnership with Formula 1 to create exclusive collections and bring young fans and families closer to the sport.
