Music star Cher has partnered up with New Zealand’s gelato artisan Gianpaolo Grazioli to launch the mobile gelato truck ‘Cherlato’ in Los Angeles, offering an authentic take on traditional Italian gelato.

Cherlato features Grazioli’s famous gelato made fresh daily using locally-sourced and regenerative ingredients.

Some of the inspired names in the menu include ‘Snap Out of It! Kefir & Cardamom’, ‘Breakfast at Cher’s Coffee & Donuts’, ‘Chocolate XO Cher’, ‘Stracciatella Giapo’s Way’, and ‘LA, I Love You (V)’.

“When I tasted Giapo’s gelato while on tour in Auckland, New Zealand, it was the best I’d ever had,” said Cher.

“It’s been a long five-year process getting my favourite gelato home to LA, but I can say it’s well worth it.” 

Cherlato represents the harmony between the art of gelato and respect for nature, Grazioli commented. 

“It is fun and delicious just the way we like it. We are proud to work with fresh, premium sustainable ingredients.”

The truck will change locations on a daily basis, and its journey can be tracked on cherlato.com.
