Kering has launched Kering Jewelry, bringing together brands including Boucheron, Pomellato, Dodo, and Qeelin, along with its industrial unit Raseli Franco, under a single structure to support and accelerate growth in its jewelry business.

The company said this division will enable the group to capitalize on new opportunities in this category, including for its fashion and leather goods houses.

In line with the launch, the group has named Jean-Marc Duplaix as the CEO of Kering Jewelry, effective immediately. He will be responsible for the group’s finance, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, real estate, digital, and the general secretariat.

Duplaix joined Kering as CFO in 2012, before being appointed deputy CEO in 2023, leading operations and finance and managing corporate functions through last year.

The CEOs of the respective jewelry houses will directly report to Duplaix.

Kering CEO Lucas de Meo said creating the new entity sets the group up for a more cohesive platform to support the houses’ growth.

“I am delighted with the appointment of Jean-Marc; his experience will be instrumental in unlocking the Group’s full potential in Jewelry,” he added.
